Eikon were commissioned by Virgin Mobile to design a moving image sequence for a series of live music events throughout the UK. It was intended for different live music events and so couldn’t be too specific or generic. In response, Eikon created a musical family tree as a way to introduce and explore various musical styles. ‘V Festival 2003/4’, Eikon were asked to perform live visuals. This meant breaking up the sequence into separate elements, then mixing them live as part of a three-screen projected visual montage
